UtiliFlex leverages the best of breed of internet technologies for network management. Each network install is tailored to the communications infrastructure used.

For small to medium sized utilities and pilot projects, UtiliFlex recommends and supports a suite of proven internet hardened tools based on the pfSense  firewall, load balancing and network monitoring/intrusion detection project.

UtiliFlex also provides services based on experience with Cisco, Motorola Canopy, F5 and other networking technologies. The UtiliFlex networking team has been building wide area and metro area networks since 1994 using  a wide range of communications  technologies.

 

Technical Notes: The upper right screen is a view of a customized ntop network monitor integrated with Juice, showing bandwidth and connections from a live system using fiber to the premises, Motorola Canopy, and Verizon Cell Modems.

Lower left is a live visualization of an active 802.11.4 6lowpan mesh network, communicating with a data collector in the upper right corner. This particular DC uplinks via a cell modem.

Lower right is the popular Etherape graphical network traffic monitor. shoing communications to and from meters in the field.
