JUICE CARD^TM

UtiliFlex's JUICE CARD^TM is a prepaid card vending alternative that utilities can offer "cash-centric" consumers.  It works in the similar manner to other prepaid cards commonly found at grocery, drug, and convienence stores.  Consumers purchase a JUICE CARD^TM using cash at the retail location and then redeem the card via telephone(IVR), web, or text message (SMS).  After verifying the card, JUICE credits the received money to the consumers account.  If the consumer participates in the utilities prepayment program, JUICE pushing the purchased kWh directly to the consumer's Smart Meter.

The adoption of JUICE CARD^TM technology allows utilities to significantly improve customer service by putting consumers in control when and how they purchase energy.  Additionally, utilities benefit by reducing the burden on utility's customer service function.  Both the consumer and utility can benefit when the technology is combined with JUICE's prepayment capabilities.
