JUICE PRESENTMENT OPTION: Modules for other websites

Google JUICE and variants for other websites and portals (Yahoo, MSN, Facebook, MySpace.com) can put your customer usage feedback right in front of them on a daily basis without expensive in-home displays, redundant communications networks, or checking the utilities website daily.

Easy to add or embed to any website, UtiliFlex includes this feature for any Juice powered utility.

UtiliFlex has been providing this module since early 2008. In spring of 2009 Google has initiated their own product offering called the Google PowerMeter. UtiliFlex is proud to be a supporter and beta developer of this effort, and is currently beta testing their interfaces with Google. All Juice powered utilities will be able to use the Google PowerMeter by Fall of 2009.

Juice enabled utility customers can also receive usage and exception information via:
  • Text/SMS messages
  • E-Mail
  • Phone (IVR) call
  • Utility Juice Portal
Gadget Display Options:
  • TOU Usage
  • Variable date ranges
  • Weather Factors
  • Historical Comparison

Technical Notes: Google Juice is a Google "Gadget", or wideget, that can be added to anyone's Google interface, iGoogle, Google Mail, etc providing daily or hourly usage information and a quick link to their Utilities Juice system.

The demo is currently powered by an Echelon NES smart meter, managed via Juice and works with any of our supported metering technologies. The name and address are simulated. This meter is live and available for detailed demonstrations of Juice. Via the web, you can read the meter data (40+ parameters), disconnect or connect it, and put purchased power directly into the meter (prepaid scenerios). During the demo, you can see this meter, it's display and load from a live webcam. The Echelon meter is a true smart meter, and does not require intense communications and data manipulations by an MDM for tiered/time-of-use billing. Juice empowers other metering platforms to provide similar functionality.
